Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the US for over forty years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Her Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in when she made her stage debut. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. That same year, she made her debut album of songs, called It's Time to Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive success and Louise received her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. As a student in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to play between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting as a sombre character contrast to her image of an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she was also a prominent director on popular TV shows such as Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28 on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and she has settled down to Toronto since then.
